The Silk Route in East Sikkim that tourists can explore (from Rongli to the Nathula Pass ) is actually a part of the ancient Silk Road. Apart from historical significance, the stunning vistas of the route attract thousands of tourists every year. Although, a lot of tourist flock from Bengal during the months of October, this part of Sikkim is still not familiar to tourists from other parts of India.
